There is no house on earth that is perfectly plumb and square. To design and engineer a floating staircase within an existing space of an old remodeled house is a challenge. To design a bolt together solution where no on-site welding is required, is quite another. The META team rose to the challenge.
This assembly bolted together on-site with no on-site welding necessary. Made from 12" powder coated steel C-channels and American Ash stair treads and railings.
The challenge was allowing tolerance for a very crooked three story home with four rises and two landings, while ensuring adherence to strict code measurements.
The META team designed each component for efficient installation, carefully considering the chronology of assembly while working closely with the architect and engineers to satisfy all code and most importantly, to exceed the clients expectations.
